On January 5th, 2017, as IBM’s partner, Synthesis participated in the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA, and made a keynote speech entitled ‘Watson Makes Service Robots Smarter’.
After signing a cooperation agreement on November 17th, 2016, Synthesis has made use of Watson Explorer to deeply tap into the industrial applications of artificial intelligence, accelerate the research and development of banking and medical service robots, and make relatively great progress.
In the case sharing section, Synthesis not only introduced the natural language conversation, knowledge base technical research and product planning of its service robots, but also demonstrated such applications as guest-ushering guidance, business consultation, affiliate marketing, smart reminders and funny interactions of the banking service robot ‘Sean’ for the audience, and showed a medical guidance scenario following the smart upgrade of medical self-service terminals.
Due to in-depth development on Watson Explorer, Synthesis left a deep impression on the audience. Synthesis’ electronics team also held an
in-depth discussion with IBM’s top management team at the conference site.
